Dr. Wafa Al-Daily is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of EHAAR International, LLC.
Dr. Wafa Al-Daily is an international development expert with two decades of cross-sector experience spanning higher education, governance, urban planning, research, policy, and global partnerships. As Co-Founder and Executive Director of EHAAR International, she brings deep expertise in strategic leadership, program design, capacity development, and community-centered innovation.
Her career includes leadership roles in academia, government, NGOs, and the private sector, with work across the United States, Middle East and North Africa, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe. She has advised organizations such as UNICEF, the Social Fund for Development (Yemen), Saudi NCAAA, Qatar National Research Fund, and MENASA World.
Dr. Al-Daily previously served as Associate Director for Global Initiatives at Virginia Tech and has been a faculty member in architecture and planning at Sana’a University since 1997. She holds a Ph.D. in Planning, Governance, and Globalization (Virginia Tech), a Master’s in City and Regional Studies (Rutgers), and a B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering (Sana’a University).
A certified practitioner in Kirton Adaption-Innovation (KAI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dr. Al-Daily is also trained in leadership development, intergroup dialogue, and future faculty preparation. She is fluent in English and Arabic, with working knowledge of French and Russian.
